10 cheap/free activities for fall

Fall is almost here and I can’t describe how excited I am. It’s my absolute favourite season. I can’t wait to take pictures of all the beautiful leaves and bold trees. Am I the only one? I don’t hope so.

So, I’ve come up with 10 activities you can do this fall – and they’re all either free or very cheap to do. I hope you’ll like them and maybe try them. Maybe some of them are so good you’ll put them on your bucket list? I have most of them on my bucket list for fall.

1. “Into the woods”
Go to a forest near where you live. You can have a picnic or take pictures or have a leaf fight with a friend – pretty much anything you want. Forests are just so beautiful in fall that you don’t want to miss out on them. There will only be one fall in 2016 so make it the best fall possible.

2. “Starfish and coffee”
Okay maybe drop the starfish (feel free to have starfish if you want!). But you should definitely go on a coffee date with one of your best friends or maybe a flirt. At this time of the year, you get the chance to try some different coffees than usually such as ‘salted caramel’ and ‘pumpkin spice latte’. Coffee dates are just perfect for fall because of the weather.

3. “Bucket list”
Actually, you should make a bucket list for fall. If you want to experience as much as possible this fall having a bucket list will definitely help you. There are so many amazing things to at this time of the year and you don’t want to sit in December and not having experienced anything this fall.

4. “Lazy day”
Having a day off to just completely relax with a close friend is a must in fall. You can stay in your pyjamas all day or play dress up, you can give each other manicures or just lay in bed watching Netflix all day – it’s up to you. But promise me to have one full day of complete relaxation.

5. “This Is Halloween”
Yes, it is so you will probably get invited to a Halloween party or two. They’re not lame. They’re fun. You should go. And if you aren’t invited to any Halloween parties you can try to arrange one yourself or with a friend. It doesn’t have to be huge but just for a couple of friends. It’ll be fun to party dressed up like witches and Lady Gaga.

6. “Five Little Pumpkins”
Maybe not five but at least one. Get a couple of pumpkins and decorate them just how you want. You can easily spray paint them if you don’t have a lot of time. If you are in the mood for something more creative you can carve them.

7. “Scary World”
Since it’s season for scariness you kind of have to watch a scary movie or series. I’m not a huge fan of thrillers so I’m currently watching ‘Scream Queens’ and I think it counts as a scary series. But you can totally just go all in and watch an entire Hitchcock collection.

8. “Candle in the wind”
That’s what Elton John says but I think you should get some candles for your room. If you live in America, you can get exciting scented candles at Bath and Body Works, but if you’re from Europe you can get nice candles at They’re nice to have in your room during fall and Christmas.

9. “C is for Cookie”
Bake cookies. It is only fall once a year and you should celebrate that with your favourite cookies. If you want to try out a new type of cookies go to my YouTube channel. I’ve made a video on how to bake chocolate marshmallow cookies. They were unbelievably delicious!

10. “Maze”
Last but not least you should go to a maze. We don’t have a lot of them in Denmark but I now a few places where they have hay mazes. It’s so much fun and you really get in the fall feel after being in a maze for a little hour.

Those were my 10 ideas for cheap or free activities to do this fall. Please tell me about your favourite fall activities in a comment below.

Thank you for stopping by!

Stay happy, stay beautiful
