The quotes I live by

Quotes. In today’s blog challenge I have to share my favourite quote. While that doesn’t sound too difficult it actually is. I have so many quotes that I love and that inspires me every day. In my room, I have a frame full of some of my favourite quotes. Here are some of them:

“Sometimes change is good.”

“Be who you are – not who the world wants you to be.”

“Being positive in a negative situation is not naive. It’s leadership.”

“Never lose hope.”

“Anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.”

“Winners are not people who never fail, but people who never quit.”

“I’ll either find a way or make one.”

“Take the risk or lose the chance.”

“If it felt good when you did it, don’t regret it.”

“Be strong enough to let go and wise enough to wait for what you deserve.”

“If being yourself is not enough, they are not worth it.”

“It may hurt you but never let it break you.”

“Don’t ruin a good today because of a bad yesterday.”

“If you can’t stop thinking about it, don’t stop working for it.”

“Always be grateful.”

“Don’t stop until you’re proud.”

“Everyone you meet is fightening a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.”

“Beauty begins the moment you start being yourself.”

And all of those quotes are great and inspiring and everything… but I made this motivation frame 3 years ago. A lot has changed in those 3 years and I don’t find all of them as great anymore. As for right now, my one favourite quote is something I said last summer:

“I’d rather try and be dissapointed than be dissapointed for not trying.”

The reason I love this quote so much is that it pushes me to get out of my comfort zone while still accepting if it isn’t a success. It says “just do it” and “it’s okay to fail” and “take the chance” at the same time. To me, that is really powerful since those are all the things I struggle with.

Feel free to share your favourite quote in a comment. I’ll be back tomorrow with another post.

Stay happy, stay beautiful
